So many possibilities.
So little time.
They slip past us, unnoticed.
Those possibilities, those missed chances,
They lead use to nowhere, to somewhere, to something new.
Those possibilities give us something.
Things seemed better when those possibilities weren’t as close as they are now.
Even then, possibilities were there.
We just didn’t realize that.
Now we’re older, things have changed.
Chances slipped away.
And those possibilities have stayed.
